Across the Pond

Lets get blogging. I would like to get us across the Atlantic so that we can try and find Daniel who came to America about 1652 or so. While trying to find information on Totelfield Prison I took note that the Middlesex Magistrates may have records pertaining to this prison. Since this is where the Cromwell prisoners were held for a time before being shipped to New England, Barabados and Virginia. The English kept fantastic accounts of many things and I have no doubt that we should be able to locate these records. Whether they will tell us the names of these prisoners or not is yet to be seen. Shipmasters kept logs, as well as port masters. There must be some way of finding out if our Daniel was recorded in some English records. I would appreciate any thought you all may have about this.
